Officina Ciani carries on the tradition of artistic wrought iron of the Ciani family, which began in the historic Florentine laboratory founded by Bruno Ciani in 1939.
Starting from the heritage of technical experience and passion in the production and processing of wrought iron and metals, our mission is combining the ancient tradition of Florentine craftsmanship with the search for contemporary design, to create unique and high quality pieces, made in Italy.
Officina Ciani is a handicraft company. Here ancient manufacturing, made of history, craftsmanship and creativity, blends with modern artistic inspirations, to give life to exclusive productions, with precious details. Officina Ciani carries on the tradition of artistic iron wrought intersecting with the use and mastering of modern materials like stainless steel.
Thanks to knowledge of our craftsmen and skills of our highly specialized workers, the company is able to customize each creation according to ideas and needs of customers.
Our Collections
Officina Ciani combines in its collections the ancient Florentine tradition of wrought iron craftsmanship with the search for a contemporary design with modern artistic inspirations, to create unique and high quality pieces, made of new materials like stainless steel. Our collection is specialized in lighting and furniture, in & outdoor, for home and garden. Our production ranges from beautiful iron chandelier to the lantern, from the gazebo to the wall sconce, from the table to the armchair, from furnishing accessories to outdoor furniture.
Metals, such as iron, bronze, steel and brass, are processed and embellished by the combination with glass, crystal, mirrors, marble, wood, fabrics and special finishes, thanks to the technical know-how of craftsman. Officina Ciani’s productions are unique and customizable, they start from customer’s needs, as to fulfill his desires, and create metallic objects and furniture able to make every space welcoming and elegant.

Marina
The latest additions to a collection already full of history
The meeting with designers Simone Ciarmoli and Miguel Queda inspired Marina, a collection of outdoor furniture with “pictorial” lines. Presented during a historical moment that has seen us all involved in the great change that has undergone our “home” and the way we live outdoors, Marina has been an immediate success. The projects, both residential and turnkey, were not missing and Officina Ciani chose to develop the line.
The collection includes linear and corner sofas, armchairs and low tables, chairs with and without arms and square and round dining tables in different sizes.
Handcrafted in Florence, where Officina Ciani can boast a tradition in the creation of wrought iron furniture since the beginning of the century, all the products of the Marina line are characterized by a design that is simple in appearance, but extremely sophisticated, even in its realization. The armrests, or the legs in the tables and consoles, have a double rod like the sign of a painter who wanted to highlight that line. The complementary materials, such as the tops of the tables, are in precious and refined Travertine.
The craftsmanship and the in-house design office also allow Officina Ciani to meet special needs by customizing not only the sizes but also colors of frames – which can be made in Ral of classic charts – and pillows, choosing from the company’s selection or any fabric on the market. The entire Marina line is also available in many interior finishes.
