Puccini Kindergarden School in Pistoia

This 18th century school is located on the outskirts of the town of Pistoia, Tuscany. After a long and gradual decline, both structural and functional, many of the original Tuscan design elements and finishes were severely compromised. A new generation of investors decided to commission the Hyper STP team with restoration and re-designing the existing building to a modern and stylish pre-school.

Besides state of the art structural rehabilitation and seismic retrofit, the architects conceived a new internal design for the functional flow of the interior spaces. A combination of the original outline and modern Italian touches enabled the team to devise an up-to-date functionality with a true Tuscan texture.

This classic architectural jewel has now been fully brought back  21st century.
